I started out photographing landscapes. I learned to wait for the light, to watch and to never force anything — and that is exactly how I work at a wedding.
I will not ask you to look at the camera every five minutes. I will be close by, paying attention, and you will barely notice me. You live the day; I take care of the rest.

It is what couples write most often after their wedding — and the compliment I care about most. A photographer who makes himself noticed changes the day: people pose, tense up, stop being themselves. I would rather stay to one side and trust what happens.

Get in TouchI photograph weddings exclusively — in Portugal and anywhere in the world. Every wedding is planned in detail and shaped around your story, which is why I take on a limited number of dates each year.
A call or a coffee to get to know each other, hear your story and understand how you picture the day.
Once the contract is signed and the retainer paid, your date is yours — I only take on a limited number of weddings each year.
A few weeks before, we go through the timeline, the locations and the family photos together, so nothing is left to chance.
Within 30 days you receive a private online gallery, every image hand-selected and edited, ready to share.

I have lived in Portugal for a decade and I am still discovering it: the estates of the Alentejo, the beaches of Arrábida and Comporta, the palaces of Sintra, the streets of Lisbon. And when the wedding is in another country, I happily pack my bags — I started photographing while travelling, and travel is still part of who I am.

Today I work with a small team of photographers who share the same eye. I love natural light, black and white, and people who forget about the camera. When I am not photographing, I am probably out cycling in Arrábida.
